

Head chef Craig is committed to preparing top quality pub food. We offer a lunch menu from 12 to 2.30pm daily. This ranges from Lambs
liver & bacon through our well known and excellent freshly beer
battered Billingsgate cod steak and chips to a wide range of baguettes and
sandwiches- the bacon, brie and cranberry combo is very popular. From Tuesday
to Saturday we have an a la carte dinner menu with dishes such as rack of
lamb on a sweet potato and parsnip mash with a rich red wine & rosemary
jus. Our sizzling fajitas are rapidly becoming a favourite for lunch or
dinner. We aim to have a choice of
fresh fish and a choice of steaks on the menu as well as a vegetarian
option. Recent fishes have included tilipia fillets, wild sea bass and
smoked haddock with king prawns in garlic butter. Dinner is served from 7 to 9pm throughout including our non smoking
dining room. We also insist the larger Dean bar is non smoking during meal
