In the immediate surrounds of Casa Santiago, the mood
is more laid-back, with the nearest bars - about 7-8 minutes walk away
along the promenade - offering good value food and drink together with
live entertainment.

The further you walk towards Fuengirola, the livelier the options become
as you move through the area of Los Boliches and on into the town centre
with its concentration of bars and night-clubs. Landmark pubs include 'Linekers',
'The London Pub', 'Old Town Cafe', 'Bogarts', and the very popular
'Irish Times'- undoubtedly one of the best bars on the coast - although
there are hundreds to choose from. |
A short bus, train or taxi ride into Benalmadena expands the options for a
lively night, with dozens of bars grouped around the marina -
providing the ideal venues for people-watching, pub-crawling or a
pre-clubbing warm-up. 'Kaleido', on the edge of the marina, is very popular with its good mix of mainstream European
music, while just across the road, a line of very cool bars, including 'Monets',
'Havana' and 'Maracas' all have areas for dancing, or just chilling out and
watching the World go by.
Just a couple of hundred yards from the marina, you'll find '24 Hour
Square' - as the name suggests, a custom built group of bars and
night-clubs, aimed at the younger end of the market, where the action
stretches well into the night. Among them you will find the nightclub 'Kiu',
which has three different rooms to choose from. Kiu is the choice of many
as the best Club on the entire coast, and doesn't charge the high prices
you might find in some of the Marbella/Puerto Banus clubs. Top bars in the
Square include 'Silvers', 'The Dutch Inn' and 'Jules'. |
