Revised Rules for 2006/2007
  1. Competitions are open to current Beeslack Camera Club members only.
  2. All entries are to be identified by membership number only.
  3. Prints must be mounted and should be a minimun print size of 5" X 7" and a maximum A3, 20" X 16" including the mount. Prints should be titled and have your membership number on the back.
    All entries must be 100% the authors own work.
  4. Projected Image Competitions are open to all members. (Previously known as Slide Competition) and made up of Slides and/or Digital Images.
  5. Slides should be in a 2" X 2" (glass or glassless mount) or Projected Digital Images of no more than 1 Megabyte. Entries MUST bear your membership number and Title.
  6. Slides should be titled and 'spotted' for projection, ie. A spot placed on the BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER as you view it.
  7. Masking of Slides is permitted.
  8. Entries are limited to a maximum of three Prints and/or three Projected Images per competition.
  9. Entries are to be handed to the Competition Secretary two weeks (usually) prior to the competition date (refer to your Syllabus for details). LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
  10. Points are awarded by the Judge on a scale of 0 - 20.
  11. Entries that have been awarded 17 points or more cannot be re-entered in any future in-club Competition.
  12. At the end of the club session the highest mark awarded per Competition to each member's print and projected image entries will be accumulated. Prizes will be presented to the member with the highest scores in the Print and the Projected Image competitions and also (Club Champion) to the highest overall combined score for the year.
  13. Members failing to abide by the rules will have their entries disqualified.
