A renowned 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Shrewsbury with a reputation for friendly hospitality and a traditional atmosphere, the Lion boasts a ballroom with sprung floor, a stage, and a licensed bar...and great sound and lighting......
There are two carparks belonging to the hotel. The first immediately behind it, and the other is just a few yards away across the street, though there is limited parking (60 spaces), alternative parking is available just a short walk from the hotel.

      
Directions:
From south and east cross English Bridge and take right fork at mini roundabout into Wyle Cop. Hotel on left at top of hill.
From north and west, follow signs to city centre and join one way system at railway station. Follow signs to Telford, bear left at Post Office. Hotel opposite T-junction
