The introductory visit lasts approximately
one hour and it is free of charge. It is very important to meet once to
discuss the mother’s needs and requirements and to ensure that Doula and
mother are comfortable with each other. This is a vital step for a successful
mother-Doula partnership to work well. This initial visit does not put the
mother under any obligation to hire the Doula. Once this visit is out of the way and the mother and the Doula agree to work together, the charges are as follows: |
