Biography

 

 

Richard Halton was born in Devon and studied at the University of Kent, Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Johanna Peters (Mezzo-Soprano), and Renato Capecchi in the USA. He has performed with all the major British opera companies and is equally at home on the West End stage.

Richard is happily married to wife Julie and enjoys a wonderful family life with their son Jonah (aged 8), daughter Scarlet (aged 5) and two exuberant Westies - Jemmy and Matilda - and all that involves. Leisure pursuits include playing the piano, watching and playing sport, (tennis, badminton and yoga) and also developing skills on his computer and with digital photography.
