Some Fan Soundbites

Richard Halton as André was perfect, very funny. I hope I get to see him in the leading role.

RICHIE HALTON FANS, WOOHOO!

He was my first Phantom, I loved his performance and can remember it now *phantasises*. Richard was great! He should have been lead in the new cast.

Ah… Richard Halton… He was my *thinks hard* second Phantom! He was so nice when I met him… it was a couple of days after my birthday, and he signed my programme –

Dear Katie,
Lovely meeting you!
Happy birthday,
Richard Halton

Richard Halton definitely ranks among my all-time favourite performers in the role. I actually liked him a lot also at the time he was playing André. Since then I’ve met him regularly before and after shows and he has always been one of the most friendly and easy-going artists I’ve ever met.

I'm completely and utterly in love with the most phantasmagorically, phenomenally gorgeous Phantom ever (aka Richard Halton) . . . I was almost in tears when I saw his face in the mirror . . . Thank you God for letting me know someone like that.

Lavinia

I love Richard Halton. I have seen the show 5 times (two of them with Richard Halton) and he's the best! I met him last summer, he's such a nice person and very friendly. He even sang a part from "The Music of the Night" and a part from "All I ask of you" specially for me!!

Victoria

Really enjoyed the show tonight, some very sensual moments… he does the "ahem" grope and sway (so called by my friend!) so beautifully. As always though the highlight for me was the end of the lair. I couldn’t stop myself shedding a tear as he collapsed. I was certainly a quivering wreck! Great response and very enthusiastic cheering at the end.

Clare

I’ve seen Richard in Phantom too. I liked him and I totally agree he is such a nice bloke. I was lucky enough to go on my birthday and the kind chap even sung me happy birthday and signed my programme.... bless him

Richard was a very debonair M'sieur André, witty and urbane (and the moustache made him appear slightly older and somehow very jocular). Now he's playing a Phantom who is attractively dignified but who possesses lashings of that wonderful wow-factor!
