Rules
1a) The League is to be called "Village Summer League Darts"
1b) Each Team must have a minimum of 4 Players. Players may only play for 1 Team, committee decision whether a player may transfer during season.
League Matches
2a) Matches will start 8.30pm.
2b) Nearest Bull to start, the winner throwing first and third legs.
2c) Nearest Bull to start, the winner throwing first and third legs.
2d) 4 x Singles 501, Straight in, Double out, Best of Three.
2e) 2 x Doubles 501, Straight in, Double out, Best of Three.
2f) 1 x Four’s 1001, Straight in, Double out, One leg.
League Fees
3) Each result sheet to be returned to HQ (Holly Tree, Walberton) no later than 7.00pm on the Friday following the match with a fee of £5.00 in order for team to receive Players Statistics and League Tables before the next Match.
Result Sheet
4a) Captains are responsible for their own result sheets.
4b) Late result sheets will result in the total loss of points and averages, etc for the particular match in question.
4c) Captains may select when their players play in the doubles and fours, Singles is done by draw.
Competitions
5a) Competitions will be run in more than one venue and each venue regarded as a heat, these heats will be played down to a winner and the winner will meet the winners of the heats to be played on finals night.
5b) Singles heats will be the best of 3 legs of 501, straight in, double out, nearest the bull, the winner throwing the first and third legs, the Singles on finals night, will be the best of 5 legs 501.
5c) Doubles will be run on a heats basis, with the format being the same as 5b, however on finals night, the finals are still best of three.
5d) Fours competition yet to be decided.
5e) The Holly Tree Trophy (Division 1) and The Holly Tree Shield (Division 2) will be run on the same format as the league matches although in the Final the players will be drawn in Singles and Doubles.
5f) Under no circumstances will there be allowed any substitutes for competitions when the draw has already been done.
Age
6) Any player under the age of 18 must have the Landlords agreement to enter the pub and play.
