We have learnt quite
a lot about the good things and the bad things of life for people in Woodside.
This has come from a variety of sources: |
a) By asking people
who do not normally attend church - The Chatting Exercise;
b) By asking young people and their parents in our uniformed organisations;
c) By attending Aberdeen City Council Community Meetings:
- Tackling Anti-Social
Behaviour in Tillydrone & Woodside;
- Woodside Neighbourhood
Planning Network - Regeneration Framework proposals
- Hilton Neighbourhood

The main
issues of need which have been identified, so far, are:
- Personal Safety
- fear of being attacked, fear of crime.
- Anti-social
Behaviour
- Substance Abuse
- drug users, alcohol addiction.
- Facilities
- both the lack of them and the under use of existing ones.
