Welcome to our website, Pete and I hope you can get a feel of what Fern Cottage is really like. We have designed the site to make it as easy to use as possible. Set in a rural location of greenbelt/conservation land with panoramic views from all rooms, yet only 15 minutes from the Cities of Bath and Bristol, in an ideal place to see the many local attractions in the West Country, such as Lacock, Castle Combe, Tyntesfield, Dyrham Park, Longleat and Cheddar.  We have 3 double bedded en-suite rooms in the stable block with their own entrance doors and the 4th bedroom is at the rear of the cottage (again with its own entrance door) overlooking the rear garden (see ACCOMMODATION page).  The standard of our accommodation reflects our very high expectations of quality, excellent food, attention to detail and service as well as offering affordable luxury.

We specialise in giving our guests an exceptional and extensive breakfast menu using only local/home grown/home made/seasonal and organic produce, growing what we use without pesticides or chemicals (see our MENU page and our LOCAL PRODUCE page for our supplier list).  We can also provide guests with our "Speciality Suppers" using local/home made/home grown and seasonal produce.  The new Winter Casserole Suppers are available in the breakfast room/dining room from Friday 14th November.  Just bring your own wine!  Locally reared Venison, Pork and local seasonal vegetables.
