Built from the box, with side skirts made from tin foil

The lack of hangers on the skirts shows up well here - thin strips of foil would improve this no end :-)

I think I should also have weathered the inside surfaces of the skirts before adding them...

One day I will build a new one with Eduard etched tracks and plasticard replacement hatches...

In this low angle shot the over scale thickness of the link and length tracks and the hatch covers really show. Next time I'll thin it down first before fitting.

The tracks are always a problem in this small scale, but overall I'm happy with the results. A drybrush with silver and grey would help to lift the track and reduce its profile..
