I've been to model shows for the long all day haul and wanted to do a bit of plastic bashing while I was there. So I gradually developed this light weight kit to take along.

It's easily packed and carried, and even comes on holiday with me - I've cut plastic in France, Cyprus, Italy and a dozen other places nearer to home in the UK... Why don't you take a look and see if you'd like to try it - maybe make a better version and let me know... email me with your improvements.

My travelling model box that comes with me to Shows and on holiday.

Its a Curver box, and a piece of MDF with a bit of quarter round beading glued on to two sides. The strap is from B&Q and has velcro to tighten it up.

Now here's my cunning plan, 'cos it can expand to strap round any kits that I might just have to have...

Inside there's my tools packed into a tupperware box, a first aid kit, room for my ongoing project, and some extras like Milliput and a camera.

I'm still working on a way to try and cram a 1/35th scale kit box in...

My tools set out on a laptray, with my cutting board and mat, ready for an afternoon's outdoor hobbying - that's if the UK weather stays kind!

Tube of glue, bottle of liquid poly, a brush to dab it on, two files, Swann Morton craft knife and spare blades, sprue cutters, super glue, tweezers, small squares of sanding paper - all packs into a tupperware box.
