The Main Quad at St Edward'sEducation aBc Oxford Summer Centre

Education aBc is delighted to be able to offer some of the best quality residential English language courses in the world, on a campus which is worthy of the very best. We are using the premises of a prestigious private school, St Edward's Oxford

The school is 1 mile from the centre of Oxford (see here for a location map), on a completely enclosed site, so that the students never have to cross a road between the purpose-built, high quality residences, the classrooms, the dining hall and the sports facilities.

See here for comments from students about what they think of our courses.We have some of the very best teachers, all qualified and experienced, in fully equipped classes, an excellent activity programme, with a range of different excursions to choose between each week. We also have our Sports Academy range of extra opportunities, with fully qualified specialist sports coaches, providing tuition and training in sports such as golf, tennis, football, basketball and volleyball.

We also have the advantage of native English speakers being on site during the period of our courses. As well as Education aBc's English language courses, there will also be some courses for native English speaking students, who will join in with our students on many activities, and mix socially. This is an important part of our course, encouraging students to speak - and think - English at all times!

We have top quality facilities, including:

  • Well appointed and equipped classrooms;
  • Newly refurbished residences, mostly with one and two beds per room;
  • 24 tennis courts, football fields, rugby pitches, a sports hall and a swimming pool, basketball courts, and many other sports and activity facilities.

See here for a virtual tour of the St Edward's School site, on the St Edward's website.
