English Experience and InThinking

We are very pleased that there will be native English speaker students on the St Edward's site, attending courses alongside our students learning English.

A Canadian organisation runs courses for Canadian students under the title of Experience England on the St Edward's campus during the period when our students are there. We normally organise many different social activities with both our groups of students, and perhaps various sports as well.

We also work very closely with an organisation called InThinking. InThinking runs courses for native speaker students, focussing on things like business leadership (Business Leader 2020) and study skills. There will even be opportunities for some of our higher level students to participate in some of the classes with this course, as a part of their afternoon enrichment options.

But the real advantage is that it will reinforce English as the natural language to be spoken while you are with us! Approximately half the students on the St Edward's site will be native English speakers, and it will be natural for you to start to think and interact with other students in English all the time. This all adds up to not just a pleasant social experience, but a very good learning opportunity!

This is yet another way in which our courses are truly unique!
