Individually Tailored Programmes
Throughout the year, as well as in the summer, we are also able to provide
a range of individually designed programmes, using the professional, cultural,
and academic resources of the wonderful city of Oxford.
Whether you are looking for a special course for a senior executive, perhaps
with not just a high quality level of class-based tuition, but also those
special extras which make the most of your time, like practice business
lunches with your teachers, or a specially arranged programme of visits
and meetings with local and international companies in your sector, or
a programme for your whole family, with classes for both parents (separately
or together) as well as classes and activities for all the children, we
have the expertise and resources to develop the perfect programme for
you.

“It
has been a fantastic experience to be here. I have met a lot of funny
and nice people whom I won’t ever forget, and I have also learned
a lot of English.”

Oxford provides the
perfect backdrop to a good study environment, but also provides a wealth
of resources and supplementary options to broaden and deepen the learning
opportunities available. This can be taken even further, with easy, quick
access to the centre of London, to dip into resources and contacts there,
whilst being able to withdraw again afterwards to the calmer learning
environment of our splendid university city.
“I
think this two weeks was amazing. Yes, everything is good.”
Diogo (Portugal)

Professional
students may wish to have a programme which involves visits to local companies
working in their sector, whether that might be service industry, manufacturing,
hi tech, or many other sectors which are either in or around Oxford. In
many cases, we are able to arrange not just a visit to a company, but
are also able to arrange meetings with potential future business contacts.
Family groups have a range of needs, and we are pleased to be able to
cater for all different tastes and learning requirements. For younger
students, an active, outdoor life, with visits to muesums and gardens
as well as sports and games areas can supplement class based learning
as well as help to broaden young minds. Parents, meanwhile, may have either
more direct learning needs related to their work, perhaps even of the
level of a personalised executive course, or may want a course more closely
resembling our English and English Culture course, with learning opportunities
intermingled with local visits, theatre and muscials, and much, much more.

For
an outline of a personalised programme, simply email us with your
initial ideas, including your current level of English, your target
level of English, information about what interests you professionally
and personally, and what sort of time you have available for study. |
Please note that,
outside the summer period, the accommodation and teaching premises may
not be at St Edward’s School, but will be based elsewhere in Oxford,
according to the needs of each programme.
