English Course plus International Sports Academy
Dates, Timetable and Sample Programme

International Sports Academy Dates

One, Two or Three Week Programmes
Each programme runs for four consecutive afternoons, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, from 3.30 to 6.30 each afternoon.

Programmes begin each Friday in July and August, and you can combine different sports, or combine a sports academy programme one week with a lyceum optional programme another week.

  • Friday 6, 14, 20, 27 July, or 3 or 10 August
  • Three hours each afternoon, after classes
  • Specially designed to fit around your morning and afternoon classes
  • Also ideal for students who are registered on courses at other schools or colleges in Oxford, or for UK based students who live locally.

Each course is suitable for students attending one of the Education aBc courses. However, we are also very happy to welcome students attending other courses locally, and also UK residents living in the area. For details of registering for just the International Sports Academy, see here.
[This is a non-residential option for just the International Sports Academy coaching, and is intended for students who are already registered on courses at other schools or colleges in Oxford, or for UK based students who live locally. For International students, please register with Education aBc as normal here, and select the International Sports Academy option]

International Sports Academy Timetable

21 hours of English language teaching (or other classes) each week, and 12 hours of sports coaching each week.

Sports coaching from 15.30 to 18.30 each day after classes, Friday to Monday.

For students attending Education aBc courses, it is also possible to select the afternoon Enrichment option to complement your International Sports Academy coaching - with tactics and sports theory, as well as classes from a sports physiotherapist, providing you with techniques to improve your training for sport, and to help you to avoid injury.
