Visitor's Book. We started taking guests at "Jappeloup" in June 2003 and have provided a "Visitor's Book" for their comments. Below we give all comments, as written, to provide you with an independent appraisal of "Jappeloup" from those who have stayed here. N.B. References to "Stef", "Ben" ,"Oliver" (or "Ollie") refer to our sons!

The Sprowsons Family, St. Albans, Herts. August 2008 "Our 5th Family holiday in France and we best loved the grounds and Pool. We have swum, cricketed, footballed, cycled, etc. the two weeks away. Weather was amazing -torrential rain now & then, but mostly 25 degrees though! 4 seasons in one day! Jon, Nikki, Ben & Ollie are great and Simba kept us on our toes! A great place in a lovely area, we can't recommend it highly enough."

If you have your 'bats' with you, try it 15€ each. Royan is beautiful & worth a visit. We loved Jappeloup! The pool was cool but we went in a couple of times & enjoyed sunbathing. The gite is great! Good luck J & N for the future."

Zoo at Pessac (near Merignac) is being improved and has 3 gorgeous tiger cubs."

Try the market in Montendre for lunch on a Thursday then off to Blaye for a picnic at the Citadel. Bordeaux-beautiful / Cognac intoxicating! Must eat at 'La Renaissance' and have the 24euros set menu with a few bottles of Blaye 2001."
