Blakeney.

Blakeney has narrow streets and used to be a large fishing centre and port, now it relies on the tourist trade especially around the quayside. The picturesque harbour is now used for recreational sailing.
Seal boat trips leave daily to visit Blakeney Point (a National Nature Reserve). Seals can be seen swimming in the sea and basking on sand banks. From the boat you have the opportunity to view Common and Grey seals.
Winding, narrow streets lined with flint cottages lead inland. The 14th century guildhall overlooks the harbour. There are remains of a Carmelite Friary. The church has a tower and second smaller tower housing a beacon which can be seen by ships at sea.

Blakeney Guildhall.

Overlooking the harbour this is the basement of a merchant’s house of the 14th century.
