Gardens.

The Old Vicarage, East Ruston. A marvellous large garden, still increasing in size, arranged in areas. Exotic and coastal. Mixed and herbaceous borders, topiary, bananas and palms, sunken and walled gardens, Mediterranean garden, desert garden, wild flower meadows. Strongly recommended.
The Exotic Garden, Thorpe, Norwich. On a south facing hillside, a garden featured on television and magazines, full of sub tropical plants. Glass houses. Well worth a visit.
The Plantation Garden, Norwich.
A Victorian town garden set in a medieval chalk quarry. 60 ft. Italianate terrace, 30 ft. Gothic fountain, restored rustic bridge.
Gayton Hall, near King's Lynn. Lakes, streams, woodland. Primulas, hostas, astilbes, gunnera, etc.
Mannington Hall, Saxthorpe. Heritage rose gardens. Shrubs, trees, woodland walks, moated manor house (not open).
Ravengham Hall, Raveningham.
Rare shrubs, herbaceous plants, euphorbia, snowdrops and agapanthus.Walled vegetable garden and Victorian conservatory.

Stody Lodge, Melton Constable. Spectacular azalea and rhododendron gardens, Japanese water garden.
Baconsthorpe Old Rectory. Garden being restored. Box hedges, mixed borders, kitchen garden. Mulberry and other large trees. Conservatory.
Sheringham Park, Upper Sheringham. 50 acres of rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias, etc. Spring Garden. A handkerchief tree. Viewing towers, walks, sea and parkland views. National Trust.
Felbrigg Hall, Cromer. Large gardens, lawns and shrubs with an orangery, also a large walled garden with vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers, vinery and large dovecote with occupants. National collection of autumn crocus (colchicum). National Trust.
Alby Crafts Garden, Erpingham. Large garden with ponds, mixed borders and conservation area with orchids.
Blickling Hall, Bradenham. Large garden with orangery and lake. Azaleas, rhododendrons, mixed borders. National Trust.
Lexham Hall, near Litcham. Parkland, lake, river, terraces and formal gardens, kitchen garden, azaleas and rhododendrons.
Holkham Hall, near Wells. Parkland and lake. Walled garden with glasshouses , pears, rare plants, run as a nursery.
Norfolk Lavender, Heacham. Collection of lavenders, other scented plants and herbs. Harvested and distilled to produce soaps, etc.
Natural Surroundings, Bayfield, near Holt. Wild flower centre in the Glaven Valley with a demonstration garden, nature trail, bird hide and shop.
Houghton Hall. Recently restored garden.
Wolterton Park, near Cromer. Eighteenth century park with lake.
